‘The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’ (ABRSM), Royal Academy of Music Percussion educate students beyond the basics of percussion. It also includes the training of fundamental music abilities, such as the staff reading, scales and music integrated test. This course would be focusing on the performance of drums (Snare Drum) and xylophone playing. Upon completion of this course, not only the students will be able to read musical staff and play these two instruments, they will be also able to play the percussion test tracks within the scope of this examination.

This course is designed based on LCM Music Examinations and ABRSM. Students will learn the change of rhythm, staff reading, music appreciation, etc. Training children’s sensitivity to sounds, building a strong foundation for any musical instruments in later development. This course is taught in an interesting way to engage children completely. This helps their growing interest in various musical instruments.
Note: Students with outstanding performance are also recommended to sit for London College of Music Examinations (LCM)
